This cannabis seed originates from the cold lands of the Kuban, the cradle of the stalwart Cossacks, and is accustomed to the harshest conditions on the planet, yet possesses exquisite sensitivity. This strain is named Kuban Sativa after the Russian region where it originates. It was adopted by two distant relatives, Northern Lights and AK-47, in a Mediterranean climate so that it could learn how to grow in other locations and reach its full potential. From this titanic blend was born our Russian Doll, a powerful plant destined to delight lovers of intense experiences.

This is no ordinary seed. This unique combination of Russian, Dutch, and American traits makes the plant a truly colossal bud-producing beast with a strong sativa effect. If Kuban is capable of producing resin in harsh conditions, imagine what it can do under the sun of a Mediterranean climate.

Cultivation of the Russian Doll
This cannabis plant is pest-resistant. It's almost the pests that fear it. On its own, the Kuban wouldn't be that attractive, but the AK47 adds a motivating sativa kick, and the Northern Lights gives it the ability to produce top-notch resin. It's a very robust, dense specimen, with a central bud that's definitely worth photographing. Furthermore, the secondary buds reach a considerable size.

During flowering, you'll notice that the leaves are also large and dark. This gives her the appearance of an Indica, but she's clearly Sativa-dominant. Indoors, it's worth using a SCROG, SOG, or fluxing system, as otherwise she might grow taller than desired for healthy growth and also to improve yields. The flowering time is between 58 and 63 days, although some reviews suggest waiting a few days longer. The yield is estimated at around 450 grams per square meter under good conditions.

Planting Russian Doll outdoors means something completely different. We're talking about a harvest of at least 700 grams per plant from late September or early October, and that's without exceeding a height of 1.80 m. We recommend apical pruning to make growth more uniform. Leaves, stems, buds—everything is thick; a pure powerhouse.
