The sensor continuously measures the temperature and transmits the data to the Maxi Controller, which adjusts the lighting accordingly. Once the temperature exceeds a certain threshold, the Maxi Controller dims the lights to keep the temperature under control. If the temperature continues to rise despite dimming, the Maxi Controller turns off half of the dimmed lights in a checkerboard pattern to further reduce the temperature. If the temperature is still too high, the Maxi Controller eventually turns off all lights for at least 20 minutes to bring the temperature back to an acceptable level. The Dimlux Temperature Sensor has a cable length of 5 m (16 ft). These cable lengths allow for flexible installation of the sensor in the grow environment to ensure accurate measurement of the ambient temperature.
